Alexandria Elizabeth Crawford, age 22, of Tennessee Colony, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, the 26th day of May, 2019. Alex was born in Conroe, Texas, on the 14th day of September, 1996, to Edward “Chet” Crawford and Lisa Walker. She was a 2014 graduate of Westwood High School and was currently working as a clerk for T.D.C.J. at the Coffield Unit. Alex was a friend to all, and never met a stranger that she could not befriend within minutes. She loved kids and enjoyed babysitting. Alex will be remembered as a caring person who was always happy to help anyone.
She is preceded in death by her mother Lisa Walker and grandmother, Joyce Snoe.
Alex is survived by her father, Edward “Chet” Crawford; grandparents, Sandra and Alan Walter, Stevie Quick; sister, Megan Johnson and husband Stephen of Elkhart; nieces, Khloe Johnson and Kayleigh Johnson; nephew, Jayden Johnson; guardians who helped raise her, Michael and Stephanie Phillips of Tennessee Colony, Haylee Phillips, Laci Phillips, Tyler Turman, Kali Beene and Paislee Phillips.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 30th day of May, 2019 at Rhone Funeral Home.
A funeral service to honor the life of Alex will be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 31st day of May, 2019, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Pastor Branden Szabo officiating.
Following the services, Alex will be cremated and interred next to her grandmother at a later date.
