Bethany Anastasia Dakota Giron, age 17, of Palestine, passed away suddenly on the 18th day of April, 2018 after injuries resulting from an automobile accident. She was born in Palestine, Texas on the 16th day of May, 2000 to Luis Giron and Johna Stone. Bethany was a senior at Palestine High School where she was involved in many organizations including T.A.F.E., Power Lifting, Color Guard and Business Professionals of America. Bethany worked at McDonald’s and was a member of the Elkhart Church of Christ. She loved to be in the presence of her family and will be dearly missed.
Bethany is preceded in death by her grandfather, James Warren. She is survived by her father, Luis and Angela Giron of Palestine, Texas; mother, Johna Stone and fiancé Mark Gonzales of Dilley, Texas; grandparents, John Stone and Debbie Warren, Luis A. Giron and Carmelina Acevedo; sisters, Skyler Giron, Bianca Giron; brothers, Christopher Giron, Kurstian Wood and Caleb Giron. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Funeral services for Bethany Giron will be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 22nd day of April, 2018 at Evangelistic Temple in Palestine. Andrew Chavarrilla and Branden Szabo will be officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family one hour prior to the service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Brandon Standland, Daniel Acevedo, Christian Montes, Mauricio Castaneda, Jonathan Castaneda and Victor.
