Carolyn Clark Buckley, age 74, of Tennessee Colony, went to her home in heaven on Wednesday, the 8th day of January, 2020. She was born on the 28th day of October, 1945 in Lampasas, Texas, to Daniel Clark and Virgie Spivey Clark.
Mrs. Buckley was a loving mother and grandmother, who displayed her love and affection every day. She enjoyed reading, baking and crocheting. Mrs. Buckley spent much of her time researching and working on her family tree. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Buckley is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Buckley; sons, Christopher Buckley and Scott Buckley; and a grandchild, Tayla Buckley.
Mrs. Buckley is survived by her sons, Brett Buckley and wife Heather of Tyler, Texas, Joe Buckley and wife Elizabeth of Littleton, Colorado, Dean Buckley and wife Hannah of Arkansas, Travis Buckley and wife Peggy of Tennessee Colony, Texas; daughters, Amy Griggs and husband Scott of Montalba, Texas, Heather Giles and husband Jimmy of Palestine, Texas; sister, Gwen Hodges of Lampasas, Texas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, too many to count; and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Carolyn Buckley will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 12th day of January, 2020, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Tom Wardell officiating. Immediately following, all are invited to visit with the family during a reception in the Rhone Reflection Room.
