Danya Kay (Rials) Oliver

Danya Kay Rials Oliver, age 50, of Palestine, passed from this life to her eternity with Jesus on Tuesday, the 24th day of September, 2019, at Hospice of East Texas, Home Place in Tyler after a long and courageous battle with lupus.  She was born on the 8th day of April, 1969 in Palestine, Texas, to Danny Ray Rials and Virginia Martin Rials.  Danya loved to help others.  After high school, she showed her love for others as she cared for them while working as a nurse’s aid.  She was a friend to many, both young and old, and was affectionately called “Mama D” by many of her younger friends. 

Danya is preceded in death by her father, Danny Ray Rials.

Ms. Oliver is survived by her two daughters, Kaitlin Irene Brown and husband Casey and Kristin Dannielle Canady; mother, Virginia Martin Callaway and husband Jess; grandchildren, Madysyn Rials and Khloey Canady. She is also survived by numerous friends. 

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Danya Rials Oliver will be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday the 5th day of October, 2019, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel. A private burial will follow in Myrtle Springs Cemetery at a later date.
