Glenda Dell (Kindle) Sartain

Glenda Dell Sartain, age 70, of Palestine, entered eternal rest with her Lord on Friday, the 4th day of May, 2018.  She was born on the 28th day of April, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to Gerald Kindle and Betty Eskridge Kindle.  Glenda loved arts and crafts and scrapbooking.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to spoil the grandkids.  She was known for always having candy in her purse.  She will be missed very much.   

Glenda is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Kindle; stepson, Mark Sartain; brothers, David Price, Joey Bell and sister, Sheri Thornton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Nolan Sartain of Palestine, Texas; mother, Betty Pierce of Athens, Texas; daughter, Angela Wallace and husband Eddie of Alabama, Sheila Dacey and husband Brian of Lancaster, Texas; stepson, Lee Sartain and wife J’Ann of Palestine, Texas; brothers and sisters, Jim McClain, Sr. and wife Mandy, Mark Clark and wife Dee, Charlotte Dean and husband David, Patti Corbell and husband Barry, David Bell, Dory Swiney, Janda Wofford and husband Ben, Shannon Bell and wife Diana, Dawn West; sister-in-laws, Nancy Price, Devin Bell; grandchildren, Brad Wallace and wife Jamie, Chris Wallace and wife Ashlee, Kiera Dacey, Connor Dacey, Shiloh Sartain, Aven Alexander, Noah Alexander, Kenzie Sartain, Carter Sartain and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Glenda Dell Sartain will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 12th day of May, 2018 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Shane Barnes of Kindred Hospice officiating.  Following the service Glenda will be cremated.   

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Friday, the 11th day of May, 2018 at Rhone Funeral Home.

The family is greatly appreciative of the team at Kindred Hospice for the excellent care Glenda received during her last days.
