Jack Charley Holt, age 94, of Neches, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, the 22nd day of April, 2018. Mr. Holt was born in Idabel, Oklahoma on the 11th day of August, 1923 to Charley Holt and Estella Simon Holt. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a truck driver for over 58 years. Mr. Holt enjoyed riding horses and working with leather, especially saddles. He loved his family and friends and will be missed.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Estella Holt; sons, Jack Holt, Jr., Tommy Holt, Richard Holt; grandchildren, Ricky Holt, Jacob Holt, Timothy Holt, Jr., Shawna Holt and Paislee; 5 brothers.
Jack Holt is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Harper Holt of Neches; daughter, Sherry Jackson of Oklahoma; daughter-in-law, Theresa Holt, Trish Holt; sons, Timothy Holt, Tony Jack Holt and wife Kimberley, Teddy Holt and wife Patricia, Ricky Holt and wife Ann; Mr. Holt is also survived by 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services with Military Honors for Jack Charley Holt will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 28th day of April, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Neches with Bro. David Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in Neches Cemetery. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family one hour prior to service.
