Janet Lynn Moore

Janet Moore, age 66, of Grapeland, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, the 16th day of April, 2019, at her home.   She was born on the 8th day of October, 1952, in Chula Vista, California, to Edgar Sunderland and Carol Gee Sunderland.   

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Thomas Hodge.  She is survived by her devoted husband, Nick Moore; daughter, Amanda Hodge; son, James Hodge and wife Samantha; and grandchildren, Sarah, Thomas, Brianna and Roger.  She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends. 

The family hosted a private gathering to celebrate Janet’s life at noon on Saturday, the 27th day of April, 2019, at their home in Grapeland. 

Cremation services for Janet Moore are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
