Jean (Altarejos) Caycoya

Jean Caycoya, age 57, of Houston, formerly of Palestine, was called home on the 3rd day of January, 2019 at Houston Hospice.  She was born on the 9th day of December, 1961 in Manila, Philippines to Liborio Altarejos, Sr. and Pricilla Ortico.  Jean enjoyed reading and gardening.  Her kind spirit will be missed by everyone.   

She is preceded in death by her parents, Liborio Altarejos and Pricilla Ortico and brother, Edwin Altarejos.

Jean is survived by her son and daughters, Elizabeth Caycoya, Veronica Caycoya, Carlos Caycoya, II, Angelica Caycoya; sister, Arlene Masters; and 11 other siblings.  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and numerous other family members.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 9th day of January, 2019 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.  The recitation of the Holy Rosary in honor of Jean is to commence at half past six o’clock in the evening.

Funeral services  will be conducted at  ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 10th day of January, 2019 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel, where Father Jonathon Frels will officiate.  Interment will follow in Ft. Houston Cemetery in Palestine.
