John "Greg" Ellis

John Gregory Ellis, beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on Wednesday, the 16th day of January 2019 at the age of 61. Better known as "Greg", his journey to become a star shining brilliantly in the universe has begun. He was born in Texas City, Texas to Michael Ellis and Nina Barth Ellis on the 21st day of January, 1957. Greg worked as an engineer and technician for the City of Palestine. Since early childhood, Greg has been a part of the City of Palestine and its community, graduating from Palestine High School before going on to complete a technical degree. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Ellis. He is survived by his wife, Paula Ellis of Montalba; mother, Nina Ellis of Montalba; sister, Carol Titley and husband Jim of Dallas; brother, Michael Ellis and wife Christin of San Antonio; nephews, Grant Ellis and Dane Ellis. 

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Greg Ellis will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 26th of January 2019 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with John Lamb officiating. The celebration will continue after the service for those who wish; location specifics are still pending.
