Louie Stanley Kitchen

Funeral services for Louie Stanley Kitchen, age 92, of Lake Jackson, Texas, will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 24th day of February, 2018 at Lakewood Funeral Home in Clute, Texas with Rev. Chris Moore officiating.  Entombment will follow in Restwood Cemetery in Clute, Texas.  Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family beginning one hour prior to the service.  Mr. Kitchen entered eternal rest on Tuesday, the 20th day of February, 2018.  He was born on the 9th day of October, 1925 in Hazlehurst, Georgia to Benjamin Kitchen and Allie Surrency Kitchen.  Mr. Kitchen was a World War II Merchant Marine Veteran and retired from Dow Chemical Security Department.   

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 64 years, Marie Kitchen; daughter, Tellie Williams and grandson, Troy Russell.

Mr. Kitchen is survived by his son, Alfred Kitchen and wife Debbie of Grapeland, Texas; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and special friend, Helen Conover.
