Maureen "Moe" Petranek Obituary

Maureen “Moe” Louise Petranek, age 68, of Palestine, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, the 30th day of March, 2018 from injuries due to an automobile accident. Moe was born on the 18th day of March, 1950 in Queens, New York to Charles Vincent Petranek and Gertrude Wilson Petranek.

Moe is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gertrude Petranek, Kathleen Petranek, Jeanene Petranek Hoover; brother, Charles Petranek.

Moe Petranek is survived by her daughter, Morgan Chantel Magdziak of Palestine; sons, Cody Magdziak and Schyler of Palestine, Jason Tanner Baum of Charlotte, North Carolina; sisters, Laureen Petranek, Eileen Petranek Johnson, Charlene Petranek Searies; grandchildren, Brody Magdziak and Draydin Smith.

A service in celebration of the life of Moe will be announced at a later date.

Cremation and memorial services for Maureen Louise Petranek are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
