Meagan Renee (Bice) Eylar

Meagan Renee Eylar, age 35, of Palestine, passed away on Sunday, the 13th day of October, 2019, at her home.  She was born on the 8th day of October, 1984, in Palestine, Texas, to parents Donald Bice and Robbin Evans Langston. 

Meagan loved animals from an early age, which led to her career as a veterinary technician at Brookhollow Veterinary Clinic.  In her spare time, she took pleasure in aiding animals in regaining their full health and potential.  She enjoyed crafting and was a member of Muse Missionary Baptist Church.   

She is preceded in death by her grandparents John Evans and Don and Jennie Lou Bice.

Meagan is survived by her husband of six years, Brandon Troy Eylar; father, Donald Bice and wife Teresa of Decatur; mother, Robbin Langston and husband Keith of Bullard; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Margie Eylar of Montalba; grandmother, Freida Evans of Elkhart; sisters, Macy DelRossi of Odessa, Jonna Satterwhite and husband Clint of Tennessee Colony; brother, Johnathan Bice and wife Julia of College Station; nieces and nephew, Jocelyn Bice, Jordyn Bice, Levi Satterwhite and Mia Satterwhite.  

Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 17th day of October, 2019, in the Parlor and Reflection Room of Rhone Funeral Home.

A funeral service to celebrate Meagan’s life is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning, on Friday the 18th day of October, 2019, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ron Ivey officiating.  Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Bradford, Texas.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Wes Thornhill, Mason Wasson, Jeb Dow, John Eylar, Jake Wasson, Tim Hart and Corey Frazier.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions in Meagan’s memory can be directed towards S.P.C.A. of East Texas Adoption Center, 4517 Old Bullard Road, Tyler, Texas 75703.
