Pamela Sue Giles, age 66, of Tennessee Colony, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, the 17th day of May, 2018. Pam was born on the 22nd day of September, 1951 in Gardena, California to James Simpson and Gail Kistner Simpson. She was a United States Army Veteran who served as a Captain in the Army Nurse Corp. She retired from TDCJ UTMB and was a member of the Little Company of Mary Alumni in Chicago, Illinois and of the CASA Program. Pam was a faithful member of Tennessee Colony Church and loved to spend time with her family, especially the grandkids.
Pam is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory N. Giles, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Gina Giles Pettiette and husband James of Tennessee Colony, Texas; son, Gregory N. Giles, Jr. and wife Jorlynn of Robinson, Texas; sister, Christine Pfeil; brothers, James Simpson, Jr. and wife Eileen, John Link; grandchildren, Noble, Grace, Luke, Claire, Eli, Charley and Corrie.
Funeral services for Pam Giles will be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 22nd day of May, 2018 at Tennessee Colony Church with Bro. Bob Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee Colony Cemetery.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening on Monday, the 21st day of May, 2018 at Rhone Funeral Home.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Whitt Michael, Clinton Felts, Robert Richardson, Brian Cavin, Justin Pfeil and Wayne McMahon. Honorary pallbearers are Jerred Rhodes and Lloyd Goodwin.
