Priscilla Sue Stuart, age 58, of Palestine, passed away peacefully on Saturday, the 19th day of October, 2019, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. She was born on the 4th day of March, 1961, in Pampa, Texas, to Jack Dye and Carolyn Stovall Dye.
Priscilla lived in various cities throughout her childhood. She married the love of her life, Scott, who she met in 7th grade. Priscilla obtained a nursing degree in May of 2013, just two weeks before a four wheeler accident that left her unable to fulfill her dream. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Palestine, and dedicated much of her time to church activities. Priscilla’s hobbies included working in her flower garden and cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jack Dye and Carolyn Stovall Dye.
Priscilla is survived by her husband of 25 years, Scott Stuart; daughter, Samantha Stuart; son, Scott Stuart II; sister, Mary Cagle; brothers, Herbert K. Dye and Dewayne Dye. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family and share memories of Priscilla from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 23rd day of October, 2019, at Rhone Funeral Home.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Priscilla will be conducted at four o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 25th day of October, 2019, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jason Huffman officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions in Priscilla’s memory can be directed towards St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
