William "Billy" Kenton Hughes II

William “Billy” Kenton Hughes II, of Palestine, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, the 12th day of June, 2018. He was 51 years of age.   Billy was born in Palestine, Texas on the 8th day of November, 1966 to William Kenton Hughes and Kathryn  Almond Hughes.  He was employed at Hughes Tire Shop for 26 years until his retirement. He was a great man who would do anything for anybody.  He had a fun loving personality with a heart the size of Texas.

Billy is preceded in death by his sons William Kenton Hughes III and Billy Wayne Hughes.  He is survived by his father, William Kenton Hughes; mother, Kathryn Sustaita; daughter, Jessica Hughes; sisters, Wanda Lambright and Shelby of Bradford, Texas, Toni Slider and Lee of Jacksonville, Texas, Dianne Thompson of Palestine, Texas, Theresa Melton and Frank of Frankston, Texas; 5 granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Graveside services for William “Billy” Kenton Hughes II will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 22nd day of June, 2018 at Palestine City Cemetery.
