Adaline Prestlyn Hendrix

Baby Adaline Prestlyn Hendrix was carried by angels into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, the 4th day of October 2020, at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.  She was born in Dallas, Texas, on the 8th day of April 2020 to parents Arlen Preston Hendrix and Jessica Rose.

Baby Adaline was born with a rare genetic liver disorder.  She fought fearlessly as she waited for a liver transplant.  During this time, she touched many people, bringing family unity and friends together.  Even though she only lived for a short time here on Earth, the impact of her life will live on forever.

Baby Adaline is survived by her parents Preston Hendrix and Jessica Rose; grandparents, Arnold Hendrix of Atmore, Alabama, Kaydel Hendrix of Tennessee Colony, Billy and Sonja Rose of Palestine;  great-grandparents, Georgia and Sammy Turner of Palestine; sisters, Kylie Wright, Ashton Hendrix, Emma Hendrix, Ava Hendrix, Delilah Hendrix; brother, Preston Caid Hendrix; aunts, Kara Jones and husband Jeremy of Tennessee Colony, Kathy Navasard of Houston, and Elizabeth Rose of Palestine.

A graveside service to honor the precious life of Adaline Prestlyn Hendrix is to be conducted at half past twelve o’clock in the afternoon, on Saturday, the 10th day of October 2020 at Land of Memory Cemetery in Palestine.

Prior to the service at Rhone Funeral Home, friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from ten o’clock in the morning until noon, on Saturday.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are her father Preston Hendrix, Jeremy Jones, Arnold Hendrix and Billy Rose.
