Adam Hamilton Copeland

Our hearts are broken at the untimely passing of Adam Hamilton Copeland, age 42, of Palestine, Texas.  Adam passed away on the 15th day of October 2022, with his mother Kathy Copeland by his side, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.  Adam was born on the 21st day of May 1980, in Teague, Texas, to parents Frank and Kathy Copeland. 
Adam graduated from Palestine High School and Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. He worked in the oil and gas industry as a Landman.  Adam enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, hunting, and competitive shooting.

Adam is survived by his daughter, Emma Grace Copeland, wife Jennifer Marie Copeland, parents Frank and Kathy Copeland of Palestine, Texas, sister Mandy Goodwyn and husband Ben Goodwyn of Cypress, Texas, nephews Justin and Nathan Goodwyn of Cypress, Texas, nephews Will and David Taylor of Fort Worth, Texas, and nieces Katie, Elizabeth, and Caroline Taylor of Fort Worth, Texas. Adam also leaves behind other family members, and a multitude of friends that will miss him dearly.

A graveside service to honor Adam’s life is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon, on Friday, the 21st day of October 2022 at Dew United Methodist Cemetery in Dew, Texas.  Bro. Mike Haley will officiate the service.  

Following the service, lunch will be provided by Dew United Methodist Church.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Steve Copeland, Ben Goodwyn, Scott Leavitt, Larry Fox, Blake Childs, and Tony Hernandez.

Graveside services for Adam Hamilton Copeland are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
