Albert “Ben” Huebner, age 94, of Palestine, Texas, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, the 15th day of June 2025. He was born on the 10th day of September 1930, in Houston, Texas to parents Albert Berthold Huebner and Irene Winnie Morris.
Ben honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict as a combat sergeant. Ben’s dedication to service continued with his involvement in the Sunshine Guild at Palestine Regional Hospital and Nomad’s Club where he contributed his time and energy.
A man of faith, Ben was a devoted member of the Southside Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was an avid golfer, enjoying the challenge of the game. For over two decades, Ben volunteered his time to assist his dear friend, Dr. Gold. His warm presence and friendly demeanor made him a favorite among patients, whom he greeted with a smile and kind words.
He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Irene Huebner.
Ben left many memories with his family and friends and those left to remember those memories are his loving wife of 67 years Betty Huebner; daughter Connie Huch (Nicholas); and grandson, Tyler Jennings.
A memorial service to celebrate Ben Huebner’s life is to be conducted at half past ten o’clock in the morning, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Southside Baptist Church with Bro. David English officiating the service.
