Allison Denise (Garner) Barfield

Allison Denise Barfield passed away January 3, 2019.  She was the fourth child to Rickey D. Garner and Ann E. Garner.  She married her husband, David Barfield, on November 13, 2005.  She worked for over 20 years at L&L Shoe Store and took pride in her job and being able to help the customers and others.

Though she suffered health problems since she was a teenager, she always had a cheerful demeanor and did her best to help others despite her difficulties.

She was preceded in death by her older sister Ricki DeAnn Garner-Taylor.  She is survived by her loving husband David Barfield, her father Rickey Garner and his wife Janeth, her mother Ann Garner, her brother David Garner, her sister Derrik and her husband Ellis Ray Charles, her sister Jamie and her husband Clif Richardson, her sister Jessie and her husband Wezzy Simukonda, as well as 6 nephews, 4 nieces and 1 great-niece.  She also leaves many beloved friends and other family not mentioned here.  She will be very much missed.

A Celebration of Life service to honor Allison Denise Barfield is to be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 12th day of January, 2019 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel. 

Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the Reflection Room at Rhone Funeral Home.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions can be directed towards the East Texas Medical Center Neurological Institute-UT Health Tyler.
