Anita “Louise” Graves passed away at her home in The Woodlands, Texas, on the 2nd day of June 2025, at the age of 93. She was born on the 19th day of April 1932 in Palestine, Texas to the late Clarence C. Graves and Lamora Denson Graves.
A longtime resident of Palestine, Louise retired from Royall National Bank in 1994 after 37 years of service. After retiring, she moved to The Woodlands in August of 2006 to be near her family. Louise enjoyed retirement and stayed active. She was a member of The Woodlands United Methodist Church, and past member of the church choir. Louise was also very active in the over 55 active adult community of Windsor Hills. Throughout Louise’s life she made lifelong friends and will be dearly missed by many.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Lamora Graves, brother Lloyd R. Graves (Pearl), nephew Robert “Bob” Graves (Susan), and longtime friend Betty Broyles.
She is survived by her great-nephew, Lee Rogers Graves (Angela); great-great-niece, Laura Kathryn Graves; great-great-nephew, Lloyd Robert Graves; several cousins, and many friends.
Graveside services to honor the life of Louise Graves are to be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, the 21st day of June 2025, at Roselawn Park in Palestine, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed toward a charity of choice.
