Arlin “Bill” William Churchman, age 63, of Oakwood, Texas, went to be with his loving Lord and wife Carol in Heaven on Thursday, the 29th day of December 2022. Mr. Churchman was born in Oahu, Hawaii on the 19th day of May 1959 to parents Billy Howard Churchman and Virginia Acrey Churchman.
Mr. Churchman served in the United States Navy upon graduating high school. He was very skilled in many trades and could fix just about anything, but he specialized in welding. He had a deep love for his family, and he always enjoyed spending time together with them and making memories. Mr. Churchman was a patient and caring man who made everyone feel welcome in his home. He had a passion for Nascar and never missed a race. Mr. Churchman found much enjoyment in riding his Harley Davidson around the countryside. He was deeply loved by many families and friends and his legacy will live on forever.
Mr. Churchman is preceded in death by his father Billy Churchman; wife, Carol Churchman; and his brothers, Michael Churchman, and Joe Churchman.
Mr. Churchman will live on in the hearts of his mother, Virginia Churchman; daughter, Michelle Cook and husband Pleze; son, Kyle Churchman and fiancé Natasha Randle; sister, Regena Churchman; brothers, Wayne Churchman, and Max Churchman and wife Janice; nephew, Max Churchman, Jr.; grandchildren, Haley Kimbrough, Reginald Kimbrough, Kaitlyn Kimbrough, Kayne William Churchman, Javory Burns, Serenity Robinson; great grandchild, Bentley William Petzold and one on the way, Kingston Ali William Kimbrough. Mr. Churchman is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other extended family, and many friends.
The family will host a memorial service to honor Mr. Churchman’s life at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 21st day of January 2023 at Mr. Churchman’s residence.
