Barbara Ann Hager, age 77, of Mt. View, Arkansas, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, the 16th day of December 2021. She was born on the 5th day of May 1944, in Houston, Texas to parents Garland and Genevieve Turnage.
Mrs. Hager grew up in Eudora, Arkansas and made Elk City, Oklahoma and Mt. View, Arkansas her home for the majority of her life. When her health declined, she moved to Palestine to be closer to her family. Mrs. Hager was a selfless individual who would give the shirt off her back if it could help someone in need. She was an excellent caregiver and always made everyone feel loved. Mrs. Hager had a humorous personality and could make anyone laugh. She was conservative when it came to money, except if the grandchildren were involved. She greatly enjoyed spoiling them as much as possible. Mrs. Hager was a Christian lady who prepared for the day she would meet her Lord. We will miss her, but we know we will see her again one day.
Mrs. Hager leaves behind her daughter, Kimberly Ann Wisener and husband John of Palestine, Texas; sons, Richard Kevin Hager and wife Alison of Granbury, Texas, Jon Randall Hager of Bonham, Texas, James Clifford Hager and wife Janeth of Goodwell, Oklahoma; sister, Charlotte Allen of Kilborrne, Louisiana; brothers, Leon Turnage of Weatherford, Texas, and Jerry Dawson of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Hager, Derek Hernandez, Shelley Nichols , Colby Hager, Nikki Hager, Joana Overton, Katherine Hager, Christina Hager, Braden Hager, Jaiden Hager, ShiAnn Curtis; and great grandchildren, Dayton Hernandez, Ariah Hernandez, Brinleigh Hernandez, Caelan Kindler, Jagger Hager, June Hager, Boston Curtis, Gauge Overton, Daxton Overton, Bailee Nichols.
