Becky Louise (Lock) Welborn

Becky Louise Welborn went home peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, the 23rd of December 2024. Becky was born in Crockett, Texas on the 17th of August 1950, to parents Edwin Earl Lock and Iva Nell Kyle Lock.

Becky,  a native Texan, was a retired Special Education and Early Elementary school teacher throughout East Texas and the spouse of Rev. Dr. Wesley Welborn, a retired Minister from the United Methodist church. In 2018, she and Wesley moved to Strasburg, VA to live with and be cared for by the Haynes family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Haynes (John), her son, Jonathan Welborn (Malika), her brother, Kyle Lock (Deanna) and her Grandchildren: Wesley and Gabe Haynes, Michael, Kamilla, Daniel and Sophia Welborn. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley in November of 2023, and her parents Earl and Nell Lock.

She will be laid to rest next to her parents on Saturday, the 4th of January 2025 at Evergreen Percilla. A graveside service to celebrate her life is to commence at eleven o’clock in the morning.
