Betty LeVrier, age 78, of Crockett, passed away on Thursday, the 12th day of August 2021, at UT Health in Tyler. She was born on the 27th day of June 1943 to Charles Tracy and Avonell Kelly Skidmore.
Ms. LeVrier is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Avonell Skidmore; husband Fred LeVrier; sister, Glenda Sue; son, Freddy LeVrier; nephew, Mark Martinz and Charles Grounds.
She is survived by her sisters, Charlene Martinz and Rita Grounds; brother, Keith Skidmore and wife Yvonne Skidmore and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mrs. LeVrier loved reading, solving crossword puzzles and crocheting when she was able. She also loved spending time with family and friends and loved working on family genealogy.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Betty LeVrier is to be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 15th day of August 2021, at The Cowboy Church of Houston County, 12328 US Highway 287 North in Grapeland with Bro. Will Yates officiating. Interment will follow in Davis Cemetery.
Friends are invited to visit with the family, thirty minutes prior to the start of the service.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Dennis Perkins, Sterling Schwertz, Mike James, Tanner Grounds, Walker Grounds, and Jason Skidmore.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
