Bonnie Faye (McLearen) Hill

Bonnie Faye Hill, age 84, of Palestine, passed away on Friday, the 27th day of July, 2018 in Tyler, Texas.  She was born on the 1st day of July, 1934 in Dublin, Texas to John Henry McLearen and Ada Richardson McLearen. She worked for many years at the glass plant in Waco, Texas as a packer.  She loved to dance, sew and enjoyed listening to Christian and country music.  She treasured her church and was a proud member of Calvary Assembly of God in Waco, Texas.   Bonnie loved her family dearly, but she had a special love for her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents John Henry McLearen and Ada Richardson McLearen; daughter, Janet Brooks; son, Larry Bodie; grandson, Aaron Brooks; sisters, Dorothy Rhodes, Flora Bea Dempsey, Nadine Swindall; and brother Henry McLearen.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ronald Hill; daughters, Tammy Stanton and husband J.C. of Broyles Chapel, Texas, Rhonda Hill of Keller, Texas, and Robin Stickles and husband Jimmy; sister, Lou Dooley of Glen Rose, Texas; grandchildren, Mindy Holliman, Chantz Brooks, Lindsey Lively, Michael Short, Michelle Short, Jimmy Stickles Jr., B.J. Stickles; great grandchildren, Scotty Harkcom, Caden Patterson, Jordyn Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Hailey Brooks, Addison Brooks, Michael Short Jr., Evangeline Rameriz, Daniel Rameriz, Reylin Short, Evelyn Short, as well as six additional grandchildren;  great-great grandchildren, Braydn Harkcom, Jaxon Lively; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Monday, the 30th day of July, 2018 in the Parlor and Reflection Room of Rhone Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Bonnie Faye Hill will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 31st day of July, 2018 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michelle Brooks officiating.  Following services, Bonnie will be laid to rest in Land of Memory Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Chantz Brooks, Gary Brooks, Joshua Wilson, Brandon Holliman, Treston Holliman, Randy Couch, Mike Wade, and Billy Arp.
