Brandon Costlow

Brandon Cole Costlow, of Bois D’Arc, Texas, departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, the 5th day of December 2021.  Brandon was just 43 years of age.  He was born on the 19th day of September 1978, in Palestine, Texas, to parents Orre Costlow and Donna Hutcherson Costlow.

Brandon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.  After completing his education, he dedicated himself to providing for his family by going into the oilfield for 17 years, and started his own business, “Costlow Renovation”.  Music was Brandon’s passion. He was a talented musician and songwriter, singing in his band “The Brandon Costlow Band”.  Brandon was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks.  He also enjoyed taking vacations with his family to the beach, snow skiing the slopes on their winter breaks and taking cross country bike rides with his wife on his Harley.  Brandon has left a void in the hearts of many, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and many friends.   

Brandon joins in Heaven his grandparents, Ray and Ovie Costlow, and cousin and childhood friend, Rodney Bean.

Brandon will be forever missed by his loving wife of over 19 years, Samantha Costlow; children, Lance Bice and wife Shelby, Gracie Vickers and husband Hayden, Reagan Clark, Triston Costlow, and Katelin Costlow; parents, Orre and Donna Costlow; grandmother, Betty Hutcherson; sister, Haley Gilbert and husband Josh; grandchildren, Aubrie Vickers, Mikella Bice, and one grandchild on the way.  Brandon is also survived by his nephews, Jackson and Jacob Gilbert; niece, Sophie Gilbert; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.

Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from half past five o’clock until half past seven o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 8th day of December 2021 at Rhone Funeral Home.

A funeral service to celebrate Brandon Costlow’s life is to be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon, on Thursday, the 9th day of December 2021 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Dan Manuel officiating.  Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as casket bearers are Ricky Hobbs, Jimmy Dugger, Chad Sparling, Jared Conaway, Mitchell Herbrough, Dale Waldon, Russell Johnson, and Stephen Costlow.
