Bret Randal Keepers

Bret Randal Keepers, age 63, of Palestine, Texas, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, the 19th day of March 2022. He was born on the 28th day of January 1959, in Cameron, Texas to parents Tommie and Sally Keepers.

Bret graduated from Cy Fair High School in 1978. He worked at Precision Transmission in Houston, Texas until 1982 when he and a friend purchased Moore’s Automatic Transmission in Crockett, Texas. Bret ran his business with honesty and integrity for over 40 years. He loved race cars, all things automotive, and his pets. Bret was an exceptionally good cook and the family will miss his cooking. He adored his family and was the best husband, daddy, papaw, G-pa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Bret will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommie Keepers.

Bret leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara Keepers; mother, Sally Ballard and husband Bill; stepmother, Wanda Keepers; son, Kyle Keepers and wife Megan; daughter, Presley Lindsey and husband Tyler; step daughters, Dusty Smith and husband Bobby, and Chelsea Bellows; sisters, Tammy Barrett and Toni Starr; brother, Chris Frazier; step brother, Rob Frazier; grandchildren, Cameron, Hollyn, Blayke, Mykaela, Madison, Harley, Tucker, and numerous nieces and nephews, along with extended family and friends.

A celebration of life to honor Bret Keepers is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 26th day of March 2022 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenny Bush officiating.

Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the start of the service in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.
