Carol Churchman, of Oakwood, is now in the presence of her loving Savior. Mrs. Churchman passed away on Monday, the 19th day of April 2021, at the age of 59. She was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania, on the 23rd day of December 1961, to parents “Gus” Augustine Mizenko and Helen Kalinchak Mizenko.
Mrs. Churchman loved the Lord and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She had a natural love for others which led to her career as a nurse’s aide. She was a loving mother and grandmother that always made the holidays special, particularly Christmas, which was her favorite holiday to celebrate. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was known for her delicious lasagna. Mrs. Churchman had many hobbies including working crossword puzzles, coloring in adult coloring books, and watching her favorite show, “Law and Order”.
Mrs. Churchman is survived by her husband Bill Churchman; daughter, Michelle Cook and husband Pleze of Palestine; son, Kyle Churchman of Oakwood; sister, Maryann Gartner; brothers, Augustine “Gus” Mizenko and Thomas Mizenko; and grandchildren, Haley Kimbrough, Kaitlyn Kimbrough, Reginald Kimbrough, Jr., Kayne Churchman, and Javory Burns. Mrs. Churchman is also survived by one great-grandchild, Bentley William Petzold and many friends.
The family will have a private memorial service to honor Mrs. Churchman at a later date.
