Carol Ann (Miksch) Hill

Carol Ann Hill, age 79, of Flint, Texas, left this world for her eternal home in Heaven on Sunday, the 27th day of February 2022.  Mrs. Hill was born in San Antonio, Texas, on the 14th day of June 1942 to parents Henry and Annie Miksch.

Mrs. Hill will always be remembered as an adventurous and outgoing lady. She loved fast cars, speed boats, and even went sky diving at the age of 70.  She was full of life and cherished her grandchildren more than anything in this world. Mrs. Hill was a Christian lady and a faithful member of Tennessee Colony Church. You could count on her to rescue, adopt, and save any stray animal she saw and had a soft heart for all animals.  She worshiped her loving Savior every chance she could and enjoyed fellowship with her church family. She was an inspiration to her family and friends and will always live in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Annie Miksch.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Arthur Hill; daughter, Susie Davenport and husband Brian of Richmond, Texas; sons, Steven Orlando and wife Arian of Frisco, Texas, Anthony Orlando of Tyler, Texas, and Dean Hill and wife Wendy of College Station, Texas; brother, James Miksch and wife Betty of Schulenburg, Texas; grandchildren, Abby Davenport, Garrett Davenport, Hayley Orlando, Jordan Orlando, Tripp Schiermeyer, Sadie Schiermeyer, Conner Hill, and Tyler Hill.

The family will host a memorial service at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Tennessee Colony Church, 7285 FM 321, Tennessee Colony, Texas 75861.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorials can be directed towards Tennessee Colony Church, P.O. Box 220, Tennessee Colony, Texas 75861.  

Cremation services for Carol Ann Hill are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
