Carol Elanor Santos

Carol Elanor Santos, age 85, of Palestine, Texas departed this earth to join her Heavenly Father in Heaven on the 24th day of June 2023. She was born on the 30th day of December 1937 in Redwood City, California.

Throughout her life, Carol was dedicated to her work and involvement in various associations. She spent many years working at Kodak, where she built lasting friendships and was highly regarded for her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. In addition to her career at Kodak, Carol provided homecare for numerous families, offering comfort and support to those in need. Her compassion and dedication to helping others were truly inspiring.

Carol was a woman of many interests, and she found joy in life's simple pleasures. As an animal lover, she shared her home and heart with several animal companions over the years. Carol was also an avid gardener, and her beautiful gardens were a testament to her green thumb and her love for nature. Her appreciation for a good book did not go unnoticed as she loved Louis L'Amour books. She also enjoyed John Wayne western movies in her spare time.

Above all else, Carol's love for her family was the driving force in her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to many and took great pride in the accomplishments of her loved ones. Her unwavering support and encouragement were the foundation upon which her family thrived. Carol will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Carol was a loving mother and grandmother leaving behind to cherish her memories are her daughter, Vanessa Lee Schindler; sons, Alex Santos, David Wade Edwards, William Russell Edwards, Leslie Wayne Edwards, and Robert Mark Edwards. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.

The family will host a celebration of life to honor Carol's life at a later date. 

Cremation services for Carol Elanor Santos are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
