Charlotte P. Haak, age 78, of Tennessee Colony, Texas, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, the 28th day of February, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on the 26th day of August, 1940, in Riverside, New Jersey, to John Biesiada and Pauline Lewandowski Biesiada. Mrs. Haak was a very loving and caring person. She was also a faithful servant of God and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Eugene Haak, who passed away in 2017.
Mrs. Haak is survived by her daughters, Lilly Walker and husband Kenneth, Judy Haak; sons, Willy Haak and wife Starla, Robert Haak; brothers, John Biesiada and Paul Biesiada; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Sunday, the 3rd day of March, 2019 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel. The recitation of the Holy Rosary in honor of Mrs. Haak is to commence at half past five o’clock in the evening.
The Mass of Christian burial is to be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Monday, the 4th day of March, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 503 N. Queen Street, Palestine, Texas, with Father Jonathon Frels officiating. The Rite of Committal, via an escorted procession, will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Palestine.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Mrs. Haak’s grandsons, Coleman Shafer, Luke Haak, Josiah Haak, Cody Haak, Roger Haak and Willy Haak. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Biesiada and Joshua Sterling.
