Christopher “Chris” Stephen Adams, age 46, of Oakwood, Texas, entered into his eternal home in Glory on Sunday, the 27th day of November 2022. Chris was born in Lufkin, Texas, on the 26th day of June 1976 to parents Peter Adams and Linda Woolley Adams.
Chris was a fun-loving husband, dad, son, and friend. He dearly loved his wife, Sarah, and the life they built together. His daughter, Emma, was the light of his life and his family was his world. Chris was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back. He always put others first. He enjoyed his time spent in the great outdoors, particularly fishing. Chris was an active member of Calvary Christian Center and had a deep faith in the Lord.
Chris was an exceptional cook who made the best food you could ever eat. He owned and operated Crawdaddy’s Food Truck in Buffalo, Texas. Chris loved the way his cooking made people smile. If you knew Chris, you knew he was a big jokester. When Chris was around there was never a dull moment. He was fearless, had a quick wit, and he was very intelligent. Chris left us too soon, but the memories that were made will be treasured forever.
Left to cherish the wonderful memories of Chris are his loving wife of twenty-four years, Sarah Adams; daughter, Emma Marie Adams; parents, Pete and Linda Adams; father-in-law and mother in-law, Kenneth and Janeen Cobb of Buffalo, Texas; sisters, Jaime Kitagawa and husband Haley of Willis, Texas, and Abby Adams of Conroe, Texas; brother, Micah Adams and wife Maria of Conroe, Texas; nephew, Cole Kitagawa; and his nieces, Ella Adams, Kate Adams, Leah Kitagawa, Kendall Cobb, Kennedy Cobb, Mary Ross, and Isabella Ross. He also leaves behind a multitude of friends and his fishing buddies.
A memorial service to celebrate Chris’s life is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 1st day of December 2022 at Calvary Christian Center in Oakwood, Texas, with Bro. Jack Smith officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Micah Adams, Josh Marhofer, Brent Ryder, James Cobb, Justin Matthews, John Reddoch, and all his fishing buddies.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are directed towards The Base, 381 LCR 514, Mexia, Texas 76867.
