Just two days before his birthday, Daniel Lee Shane Ray, of Palestine, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, the 15th day of May 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was fourteen years of age when Jesus called him home. On the 17th day of May 2007 in Palestine, Texas, Amber Lamb welcomed her baby boy into the world.
Daniel was an 8th grade student at Elkhart Middle School. He was a sweet and caring teenager that captured your heart. Daniel had an outgoing personality and enjoyed all the friendships he made at school and church. Daniel attended Tyler Biker Church and loved the Lord with all his heart. Daniel was an excellent mechanic, arguably better than most men. He enjoyed fishing and playing games with his friends. Daniel was only with us for a short time, but his spirit will be forever felt by all the people who loved him.
In Heaven, Daniel joins his grandfather, Ronald Lamb.
Daniel’s brief life will be forever cherished by his mother, Amber Lamb; stepfather, Jose “Chuy” Gonzalez; grandparents, Janna Lamb and Arasiela Gonzalez; sisters, Arrana Gonzalez, Macy Gonzalez, Alexis Ray, and Caroline Gonzalez; brothers, Jose Gonzalez, Jr., Loki Gonzalez, and Miguel Gonzalez. Daniel is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
