Debra “Denise” Carroll, of Palestine, Texas, left this world unexpectedly on February 7, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on July 9, 1967, in Palestine, Texas, Denise was the cherished daughter of Allen Dale Sparks and Mary Ann Tyner Sparks.
Denise's pride and joy were her son, Chance. She was a constant figure at his baseball games, cheering him on from the stands in high school and throughout his college career. Her enthusiasm for his achievements knew no bounds, and she could often be heard sharing stories of his successes with anyone who would listen. Denise's unwavering support and pride in Chance's accomplishments were a reflection of her boundless love for him.
A lover of animals, Denise's adoration for dogs and cats was evident to all who visited her home. Her pets were not just animals but members of her family, each one cherished and loved unconditionally. Denise's passion for music, particularly the songs of Garth Brooks, filled her home with melodies that matched her own zest for life.
She relished the moments spent surrounded by her loved ones, whether it was a quiet evening at home or a spirited gathering at church. Denise was a member of Crockett Road Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother Ann Sparks.
