Donald Andrew Teague, age 86, of Palestine, Texas, born on the 8th day of August 1935, in Brownwood, Texas, to Alma Hunter Teague and Andrew Teague, peacefully passed away on Monday, the 29th day of November 2021. He is now reunited with his three siblings.
Don graduated from Brownwood High School and attended Howard Payne College until he joined the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Germany and served for four years. Don worked in the oil field most of his life, had an oil drilling business, and later worked for the postal service where he retired. After retiring, Don traveled across every state including Hawaii. His favorite way to travel was by cruise ships. He loved classic cars but was partial to mustangs. He was a member of East Side Church of Christ where he attended church every Sunday. Don was a loving family man and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Alma Teague; sons, Michael Teague; sister, Dalpha Myers; brothers, Delwin Teague and Dewain Teague.
Don is survived by his wife, Jeanetta Teague, the sweet Arkansas girl he married on November 6, 1957; son, Charles Teague and wife Elliette of Kyle, Texas; grandchild, Reylee Teague and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service, with Military Honors, to celebrate the life of Don Teague is to be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon, on Sunday the 5th day of December 2021 at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at Rhone Funeral Home, from one o’clock to two o’clock, prior to the start of service.
