Donna Lee (Hancock) Davis

Donna Lee Davis, of Palestine, Texas, entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, the 16th day of September 2023.  Donna passed away at her home with her devoted husband of 43 years and her loving son by her side.  She was 62 years of age.  Donna was born on the 8th day of January 1961 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Moty Tiger Hancock and Kathryn Louise Huberchetz Hancock.

Donna had a heart of gold and always had other people’s best interest at heart.  She was an artist who had a natural talent and a passion for painting and mosaics. Donna was a devoted Christian who studied her Bible daily and she was also involved in a home Bible ministry, learning and teaching others the word of God.

Left to cherish the beautiful memories of Donna are her husband, Mike Davis; son, Christopher Dawn Davis and wife Stephanie; and her sisters, Cora, Brenda, Joan Ann, Kay and Barbara, whom she deeply loved.  Donna is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Moty Hancock. 

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date to honor Donna’s life.

Cremation services for Donna Lee Davis are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
