Elizabeth Ann Hamilton, age 60, of Palestine, Texas, joined her loving Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday the 13th day of December 2023. Mrs. Hamilton was born in Crockett, Texas on the 11th day of August 1963 to parents Clyde Jones and Frazier Elaim. Her journey through life was marked by the gentle touch she extended to all, both through her work and her loving nature. Mrs. Hamilton's career as a massage therapist was more than a profession; it was a testament to her commitment to bringing comfort and healing to others. Her hands, which skillfully eased the burdens of many, will be remembered for their tenderness and compassion.
Mrs. Hamilton's zest for life was as vibrant as the bright lights of Las Vegas, a city she adored visiting. Her trips to the city of neon were not just about the thrill of the game but also about savoring life's joys to the fullest. This same passion was evident in her love for the tranquil life in the country. Mrs. Hamilton found solace in the serene landscapes and the unhurried pace of rural living. The open fields, the rustling leaves, and the chirping birds provided her with a sanctuary where she could relish the peaceful settings, she so cherished.
A lover of animals, Mrs. Hamilton had a special place in her heart for dogs. Her canine companions were not just pets but members of her family, sharing in her everyday joys and comforts. They, too, will miss her presence, and the warmth of her care.
Above all, Mrs. Hamilton's heart belonged to her family. Her love for her husband was a beacon of devotion, setting an example of enduring partnership. The laughter and joy of her grandchildren were the melodies that played sweetly in her life, harmonizing with her nurturing spirit. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, each member a precious stone in the mosaic of her heart.
Her memory will continue to inspire and comfort those who were fortunate enough to know her. Mrs. Hamilton's life was a journey well-traveled, and she will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Dennis Hamilton, Sr.; daughter, Ladeidra Colter; sons, Terrance Jones, and Clarence Colter, Jr.; step-children, Lacresha Lamb, Deniece Hamilton, Denesha Black, and Dennis Hamilton, Jr.; siblings, William Jones, of Tyler, Rejina Jones, of Palestine, Julia Carey, of Tyler, and Otis Jones, of Desoto; and her beloved grandchildren, Jaiden Jones, Trae Jones, Dominic Jones, Kenzie Jones, Kaidence Gardner, and Kinley Collins. Mrs. Hamilton is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a multitude of friends.
A memorial service to honor Mrs. Hamilton’s life is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 21st day of December 2023, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel. Dwayne Gardner will officiate.
Cremation and Memorial services for Elizabeth Ann Hamilton are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Highway 19, Palestine, Texas.
