Ellen Yvette (Cain) Jones

Graveside Service: Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 3:00p.m. in Guiceland Cemetery.

Ellen Yvette Jones, age 72, of Elkhart, passed to her eternal home in Heaven on Tuesday, the 9th day of February 2021, in Lufkin, Texas.  She was born on the 21st day of April 1948, in Houston, Texas, to parents Alvin Lee Cain and Dorothy Lee Stallones Cain.

Mrs. Jones was born and raised in Houston, Texas.  Upon graduating high school, she moved to Nacogdoches, Texas, where she enrolled in Stephen F. Austin State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Education.  Mrs. Jones then married and started her family.  Mrs. Jones enjoyed crocheting and going to church and went as often as possible until her health declined.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents Alvin Cain, who passed away in 2020 and Dorothy Cain who passed away in 2017, and brother, Robin Cain.

Mrs. Jones leaves behind her husband Davey Jones; twin sons, Samuel Brame and Daniel Brame, and son, Jason Roy Brame and fiancé Mellissa; sister, Shirley “Jan” Cain; brother, Jon L. Cain and wife Lorlee; and grandchildren, Lauren, Dustyn, Jacee, K.J., Cobrin, Bridgette, Haley, and Jordan.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jones will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at  Guiceland Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas with Bro. Jason Hoffman officiating.
