George "Casey" Christopher Williams

George Christopher Williams, of Palestine, passed away on Saturday, the 13th day of November 2021, in Tyler, Texas.  He joined our loving Savior in Heaven at the age of 58.  Mr. Williams, affectionately known as “Casey”, was born in Boston, Massachusetts on the 12th day of June 1963, to parents William G. Williams, Jr. and Jane Cooper Williams.

Casey grew up in Lincoln, Massachusetts and attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.  He served our country in the United States Naval Construction Battalions, better known as the Seabees.  He also worked as a truck driver and a Peace Officer for the Palestine Police Department.  Casey had a generous heart and donated much of his time to serving others. He volunteered at the local Stock Pot and at one time was the Chaplain for the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Casey loved people and forming lasting relationships.  He enjoyed being the center of attention and making people laugh.  Casey was always gathering the family together and cooking large meals.  His hobbies included riding his motorcycle and reading.

Casey is preceded in death by his father, William G. Williams, Jr.

Casey is survived by his loving wife Heather Williams; his mother, Jane Brayton and stepfather, Chris Brayton; sisters, Emily Williams and Laura Williams; stepdaughter, Reagan Snider; granddaughter, Dakota Ling; sisters-in-law, Michele Torrez and husband Jerry, Linda Sulivan and husband Jody, Kim Pharris and husband Carlos; brothers-in-law, Jim Burrell, and Greg Snider and wife Twila.  He is also survived by many friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Casey’s life is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 11th day of December 2021 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.  Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the Rhone Reflection Room.
