Jacob Bryan Daniels, of Palestine, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, the 6th day of September 2022, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 22 years of age. Jacob was born on the 7th day of October 1999, in Palestine, Texas, to parents Thomas “Tom” Daniels and Janna Linderman.
Jacob, better known as “Big Red”, was a 2018 graduate of Westwood High School. He worked as a brake technician at Mattern Tire and Auto for several years, a job he enjoyed. Jacob loved helping people any chance he could. He had a kind-hearted personality and was loved by everyone. His passion involved working on cars and turning wrenches. He also adored his two dogs, Nubbi and Louie. Jacob was taken too soon, but his memory will live on forever.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy Linderman, and his uncle Gary Burk.
Jacob will be missed by his father, Tom Daniels; mother, Janna “J.J.” Linderman; grandmother, Nell Boyd and husband Roy; step-grandmother, Pam Wilson; brother, Ryan Linderman and wife April; aunts, Sherry Burk, Amanda Jackson and Amanda Smith; uncle, Warren Daniels; nieces, Addison Linderman and Rachel Linderman; and cousin, Jordan Burk. He is also survived by his extended family, Jack and Destiny Bowen, and numerous other family members, and friends.
The family will host a memorial service to celebrate the life of Jacob Daniels at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, on Saturday, the 17th day of September 2022 at First Baptist Church Neches with Pastor David Dixon officiating.
The family would like to thank Jack and Destiny Bowen, and Amanda Smith for all their love and support during this difficult time.
