Jere Pritchett Obituary

Jere Alan Pritchett, of Tennessee Colony, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on the 3rd day of March 2024, just days before his 66th birthday. Born on the 6th day of March 1958, in Corsicana, Texas, to Kenneth John Pritchett and Myrtle Watson. Jere's legacy is one of unwavering dedication to his family who loved him, his business, and his passions.

Jere was the proud owner of Palestine Water Well, a business that not only served the community but also reflected his deep connection to the earth and its resources. Jere's passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for hunting and fishing. He was particularly known for his skill and enthusiasm for big game hunting, a pursuit that took him on many memorable adventures. He also found great joy in duck hunting at Teal Pond, where he was often joined by his beloved wife Patty and his brother and best friend, John. These moments by the pond were not just about the hunt but about sharing the quiet beauty of nature with those he held dearest.

Family was the cornerstone of Jere's life. He recently discovered the simple pleasure of gathering on Sunday afternoons at his mother's house, where laughter and stories filled the air, strengthening the bonds of kinship. These gatherings were cherished times, stories, and the close bonds of family.

He joins in Heaven his father Kenneth Pritchett.

Jere's loving family left to cherish his memories include his mother, Myrtle Pritchett; his wife Patty Starr; his sister, Jetonne Douglas and husband Jeff; his brother, John Pritchett and wife Rita, and his special niece Morgan Villalobos and husband Tony. Each family member held a unique place in his heart, and he took great joy in their accomplishments and happiness.
