Jesse Heath James

It is with great sorrow and overwhelming grief that we announce the passing of Jesse Heath James, also known as “Big Juicy” or “Lil Sleepy”.  Jesse left this world for his heavenly home, at the age of 39, on Friday, the 21st day of May 2021 and is now singing with the angels in Heaven.  Jesse was born in Palestine, Texas on the 3rd day of September 1981, to parents Kenneth James and Shirley James.

Jesse had a free-spirit and lived his life the way he wanted.  Jesse made his family and friends the center of his world.  He deeply cared about others and could make anyone laugh. He was always there to lift your spirits and would leave you with a smile on your face.  You never had to wonder what was on Jesse’s mind because he was a straight shooter that always told you what he was thinking.  His hobbies included fishing, front porch chilling, barbecuing, and congregating with his family and friends.  Jesse left this world too soon and will be greatly missed but will forever live in our hearts.

Jesse joins in Heaven his mother Shirley James; grandparents, John and Beverly Deware, and Don and Linda Anderson; and aunt, Jan Fletcher.

Jesse leaves behind a large family who loved him dearly.  He is survived by his wife Kelle Pomykal; daughter, Trinity Kayla Bolton; sons, Conner Lee James, Bentley Aiden Dalton, and Zachary Ryan Dalton; father, Kenneth James and stepmom, Tracey; sister, Jennifer Henson and husband Michael; nephew, Zachary Henson; niece, Sara Henson; and numerous other family members and many friends. 

A Celebration of Life service to honor Jesse James is to be conducted at six o’clock in the evening, on Tuesday, the 25th day of May 2021 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.  Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the start of the service at Rhone Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve as honorary pallbearers are Clay Jones, Cole Morman, Jaime Frawner, Charles Torrez, Kory Pomykal, Misty Henson, Ashley Multer, and Taryn Arnold.
