Jesse Lee Wells, age 43, of Palestine, Texas, entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, the 18th day of June 2024, after a brief illness. Jesse was born on the 16th day of February 1981 in Clear Lake City, Texas, to parents Larry Wells and Jimmie Sue Edwards. Jesse spent the latter of his professional life as a dedicated vendor for the Coca-Cola Company, where his warm smile and genuine interest in others made him not just a favorite among his colleagues but also a beloved presence among his clients. His work was more than a job; it was an extension of his innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
A lover of the outdoors, Jesse found peace and joy in the embrace of nature. His passion for music was almost as profound as his love for his children, whom he adored above all else. Jesse's life was a symphony of moments spent playing drums, a hobby that brought rhythm to his existence and joy to those who heard him play.
Jesse's legacy is one of love and friendship. He never met a stranger, only friends he hadn't yet made. His companionship extended to his beloved dogs and cats, who were a constant source of comfort and happiness in his life.
Jesse Lee Wells will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A man whose kindness touched the hearts of everyone he met, Jesse's thoughtful and friendly nature made him a cherished figure among his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Remi Wells, brothers Jamie Wells and Bobby Wells, and his longtime friend, Randy Green.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Stacy Ridings Wells; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Glennie Cannon; son, Michael Wells; daughters, Destiny Wells, Jordan Wells, Trinity Wells, Lillie Wells, and Savanna Wells; stepdaughter, Shy Smith; and his brother Anthony Perea. He also leaves behind other family members and many friends.
