Kathleen Kershner Hagerman, affectionately known as Kathy to her loved ones, passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on September 6, 1948, in Dallas, Texas, Kathy was the cherished daughter of Cornelius Gremillion and Bertha Barbosa Friedman.
A proud graduate of Richardson High School in 1966, Kathy carried the lessons of her youth throughout her life, approaching every challenge with grace and determination. Kathy had an eye for treasures, often found thrift shopping and antiquing, where she found joy in discovering hidden gems.
Kathy was always the first to give, whether it was a thoughtful gift or her time. Her presence at family gatherings was marked by laughter, her infectious smile, and the click of her camera as she captured precious moments. Kathy's photographs are treasured keepsakes that will allow her family to hold onto the memories she so lovingly preserved.
Her home was a reflection of her love for nature and animals. Kathy had a green thumb, tending to her garden with the same care and attention she gave to her relationships. Her dogs were not just pets but members of the family, each one doted on and loved unconditionally.
Above all, Kathy's life was defined by her role as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her devoted sons, Scott Bullock and wife Shawn, Colby Bullock and wife Kim, and Kaleb Bullock and wife Shannon. Her legacy continues through her siblings, Sharon Martindale, Lynn Brummett, Leslie Brice, and her brother, Chuck Kershner. Kathy's joy was multiplied by her grandchildren, Bailey Martinez, Harrison Wilson, Dylan Bullock, Easton Wilson, Thaddeous Bullock, Ezra Bullock, Coleman Bullock, Braxton Bullock, and Grayson Bullock, as well as her great-grandchildren, Lynleigh Bullock and Evelyn Bullock. Her life was further enriched by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a wide circle of friends.
Kathy’s family will celebrate her life at a later date.
