Kelsey Margaret Copeland

Kelsey Margaret Copeland, of Palestine, departed this life too soon at the age of 24, due to injuries from a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday, the 16th day of September, 2020.  Kelsey was born on the 16th day of July 1996, in Palestine, Texas, to Sarah M. Copeland. 

Kelsey was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece and friend who made others around her smile and feel loved.  She enjoyed socializing with friends and spending time with loved ones.  Her spirited personality made others draw to her.  Even though she left this world early, she will always be remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.    

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Beckie Copeland and great-grandparents, Harold and Evelyn Copeland.

Kelsey is survived by her mother, Sarah Copeland Wallace and husband Dustin; daughter, Tynesher Rickel Elecia; son, Jeremiah; sister, Tatum Wallace; brothers, Marc Cook, Jeremy Simms, Trey Jones and Tobin Wallace; and numerous loved ones.

Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family and share memories from two o’clock until four o’clock in the afternoon, on Sunday, the 20th day of September 2020 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel.

Kelsey will be cremated, and her family will have a private memorial service at a later time.
