Kristin Dannielle (Rials) Canady

Kristin Dannielle Canady, of Elkhart, Texas, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, the 5th day of May 2024, at the age of 33, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  “Kris”, as she was lovingly known, was born on the 4th day of March 1991, to parents George Guthrie and Danya Rials.

A proud graduate of Elkhart High School, Kris carried the spirit of her alma mater into every endeavor. Kris was a woman of many passions, but none so profound as the love for her children, Khloey, Kaylee, and Madysyn. She poured her heart into their lives crafting art and precious memories. Her hands were rarely still, always busy with the next project that would bring joy to those she loved.

Those who knew Kris will remember her as the epitome of creativity, loving kindness, and an adventurous soul who never shied away from a challenge. Her radiant smile and infectious enthusiasm for life's simple pleasures left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of her company.

Kris's legacy is one of boundless love and the courage to embrace life with open arms. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those she touched including her daughters, Khloey Ann Canady, and Kaylee Danyal Rials; father, George Guthrie; grandparents, Virginia Martin Callaway, and Jerry Reed; sister, Kaitlin Brown and husband Casey; brothers, Charlie Hobbs and Gaylon Hobbs, Jr.; niece, Kinsley Kay Brown; and her nephew, Chase Wayne Brown.  Also left to cherish the wonderful memories of Kris are many other family members and numerous friends.

Kris is preceded in death by her mother, Danya Rials; daughter, Madysyn DeLayne Rials; grandparents, Danny Ray Rials, and Gaylon and Terresa Hobbs.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 14th day of May 2024 at Rhone Funeral Home.

Funeral services are to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning, on Wednesday, the 15th day of May 2024 at Evangelistic Temple, 3011 Loop 256, in Palestine, with Pastor Zac Baker officiating the service. Following the service, Kris will be laid to rest with her daughter in Pilgrim Cemetery.
