Larry Neal Acreman

Larry Neal Acreman, age 69, of Palestine, Texas departed this world for his heavenly home on Sunday, the 6th day of March 2022. Mr. Acreman was born in Bastrop, Louisiana on the 5th day of November 1952 to parents Oliver and Edie Acreman.

Mr. Acreman was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was a collector of knives and guns. If given a chance, he would pick on you. His great personality will be missed by all. He was a hard worker and a great provider for his family. Mr. Acreman was a faithful member of Cornerstone Worship Center, where he served on the board and taught Sunday School. He was an inspiration to his family and friends and will always live in our hearts.

He is preceded in death by his parents Oliver and Edie Acreman.

Mr. Acreman leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Renee Acreman; daughters, Angel Cook and husband Michael of Palestine, Texas, Lori Comstock and husband Richard Comstock, Jr. of Kyle, Texas; brother, Kenneth Acreman and wife Glenda of Bastrop, Louisiana; stepsister, Linda Sue Dew of Virgina; stepbrother, Ricky Dew and wife Melanie of Bastrop, Louisiana; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cook, Hailey Cook, Autumn Comstock, and Zoee Comstock.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Larry Acreman is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 11th day of March 2022 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel in Palestine, Texas with Pastor David Malone officiating. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the start of the service at Rhone Funeral Home.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Matthew Dean, Larry Martin, Winston Payne, and Rick Comstock, Sr.
