Laura Ellen Bairfield, age 63, of Palestine, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, the 23rd day of June 2026. She was born on the 28th day of August 1962, in Palestine, Texas, to parents Grady Payne and Ruby Wilbanks Payne.

Laura was a woman who found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved to sing and spend hours coloring, activities that brought out her creativity and filled her days with joy. She was also an avid collector of angels and crosses, treasures that reflected her faith and held special meaning throughout her life.

Known for her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart, Laura cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She had a way of making those around her feel loved and welcomed, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Ruby Payne; her husband, Jack Frabenburg; and her brothers, Daniel, Kenny, and Hayden Payne.

She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her daughter, Kristina Stracener and husband William; her son, Ruben Bairfield and wife Heather; her siblings, Deloris, Rose, Esther, Amy, Vickie, Ados, and their spouses; her beloved grandchildren, Mary, Logan, Dylan, and Vanessa, who brought great joy to her life. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
