Laura Jean Savaria passed away peacefully on Wednesday, the 18th day of March 2026 at her home in Elkhart, Texas. Born on the 9th day of January 1965 to parents John Joseph Savaria and Norma Eileen Seeley Savaria, Laura was a woman of remarkable strength and an even bigger heart, known by all as someone who would stop at nothing to help another in need. Laura graduated from high school in Houston, Texas, and went on to work as a pharmacy technician for many years.
Laura found great joy in the freedom of the open road and her love for motorcycles, a reflection of her spirited and independent nature. Laura also held a profound respect and love for the military, honoring those who served with the same fierce loyalty she showed her friends and family.
Her compassion truly shone through her love for animals. Laura had a love for all creatures, but she held a particularly special bond with her beloved dogs, Angel, Little Man, and Hoss. They were her constant companions and brought immeasurable happiness to her life.
Guided by her faith as a dedicated Methodist, Laura walked through life with grace and a helping hand extended to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Alice Allen and Margaret Briggs.
Laura is survived by her sisters, Lisa McGuire and husband Raymond and Mary Eileen Oswald; brothers, John Savaria, Jr. and wife Cheral, Paul Savaria and wife Debbie, and Charles “Chas” Savaria and wife Stacie.
