Logan Bush Obituary

Our beautiful boy, Logan John Thomas Bush, age 3, of Grapeland, Texas, was carried by angels to live in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. Logan passed away in the embrace of family at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, the 4th day of December 2022. He was born on the 21st day of October 2019, in Houston, Texas, to parents Charles Thomas Bush and Colleen Victoria Barber.

Logan brought great joy to his parents, other family members, and friends the day he was born.  He always had a smile on his face and would spread love and laughter wherever he went.   Logan loved to be outside either chasing the chickens or pretending to deer hunt like his dad with his beloved Nerf Gun.

Logan also enjoyed buggy rides to new places and going to church.  The first movie he ever saw in a theater was “Jurassic World”, and he most recently watched the movie “The Meg”, which he loved.  Logan always wanted to be involved in everything and enjoyed being someone’s “little helper”.  Whether it was his big blue eyes or his sweet voice, he could usually talk you into doing anything he requested.  Logan was obsessed with Dinosaurs.  Macaroni and cheese was his most requested choice for dinner and banana splits were his favorite dessert.

Logan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Barber, and his great-grandparents, George H. Bush, Thomas Wages, John Brophy, Velma Barber and Robert Barber.

Logan only lived a short time here on Earth but left a lifetime of precious memories that will be cherished forever by his parents CT Bush and Colleen Barber; maternal grandmother, Janet Barber; paternal grandfather, Benny Bush and wife Mitsy; paternal grandmother, Sue Bowman and husband Bill; great-grandmothers, Sue Duhon, Gayle Wages, and Bertha Brophy; aunts, Katie Ingles, Shelby Jordan, Jolie Eubanks, Kolbie Bush, Addie Bowman, Callie Bowman, Caitlin Longwell, and Gillian Barber.  He also leaves behind other family members and many friends.

Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family during a visitation from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Saturday, the 10th day of December 2022 at Rhone Funeral Home.

A funeral service for Logan Bush is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon, on Sunday, the 11th day of December 2022 in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church Grapeland, 408 W.
